Our Story

Paradise Equestrian Therapy Center was founded in 1998 near Mattoon, Illinois. In 2007, the program moved to our current location formerly known as Rock-N-A-Ranch. At that time a new board of directors was appointed and have worked diligently to expand our program to help any and all individuals that would benefit from equine assisted activities and therapy.

Our Facility

Facilities: Our current facilities include an 80' x 175' indoor arena with a wheel chair accessible ramp for mounting, 120' x 220' outdoor arena, and a 60' x 120' heated barn that is set up as a practice area for area ball teams. We have plenty of room for expansion to provide additional services for our riders and the community!

In 2013, the west portion of our barn was remodeled to provide an area that local baseball and softball teams can utilize. The facility is heated and ready for rental. We have 2 nets for batting practice and 2 pitching mounds. For more information or to schedule please contact Terry Allen either by phone 217-276-0019 or by email charlestonelectric@yahoo.com.
